Facts you can check.
RealPulse is created and operated by Chris Serger.
Purpose
- We bring selected national conditions into one usable timeline.
- The 17 indicators are not a complete measure of American wellbeing.
- National averages do not describe every household.
- Presidential dates provide context, not causal attribution or an overall grade.
Operation and costs
- The dashboard is free to access.
- Hosting and data collection use free services; the owner maintains the domain.
- No paid data feeds or subscriptions were added.
- Original agencies and providers are attributed and do not endorse RealPulse.
Consistent rules
- The same period, baseline and comparison rules apply to both terms.
- Prices describe costs; real wages and median household income describe purchasing power.
- Recruiting measures attainment against published targets; border encounters measure recorded enforcement events.
- Checks name a difference in a measure, not statistical significance or political credit.
- We do not total checks into a presidential score.
Automatic updates and evidence
- Sources are checked daily and publish on their own schedules.
- Invalid or unavailable updates retain verified history with visible status.
- Unknown reporting changes require review rather than guessed values.
- Each saved version preserves its observations and calculation methods.
- Upstream data revisions are distinct from changes to our methods.
